The purple colour of the wine gives away what the nose and palate will confirm, the nose is made up of cherries and the palate of raspberries. The wine is oak-aged for 11 months which gives it the richness and some notes of wet forest, it will age for the next 5 years and will fit perfectly with meat dishes and cheeses that are not too strong.

Vincent Bachelet

Vincent Bachelet is the 3rd generation of the Bachelet family to work the 17 hectares the domaine now has, the grapes come from the most pestigeous appeltions in Burgundy and the agriculture is done with minimal intervention. All grapes are handpicked and destemmed for the pinot noir and sorted, in the winery again all is done to let the terroir express itself and have minimum intervention and no additives. The result is an amazing range of what Burgundy has to offer, stunning wines.
