Winter – Red

This red winter case is made up of wines you want to enjoy in front of your log fire, or staring out of the window watching the world go by. They all have a warm feeling to them. First, the Bordeaux made of mainly Merlot and a bit of cabernet franc to keep the perfect balance. Medium-bodied it can be drunk without food even but loves a piece of meat or charcuterie. The second one is a subtle blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it’s a wine with sensuality, aromatic enchantment and a crispy fresh texture. The Cote du Rhone from Maby has been awarded a stunning 90/100 by Robert Parker and rightly so, it has a palate of mulled black fruit with hints of liquorice. A lovely velvety structure that makes it a perfectly drinkable wine.
