Our nature wines, recently recognized with the official Vin Méthode Nature certification, are crafted to reflect the purest expression of the grape. The winemaker’s goal is to get as close as possible to naturally fermented grape juice. These wines are made without any additives, stabilizers like sulfites, or chemicals in the vineyard. Fermentation occurs naturally with the wild yeast on the grapes, and no filtration is applied, so sediment often settles at the bottom of the bottle.
Also known as low-intervention or zero-sulfite wines, natural wines can present flavors and aromas that are unusual for newcomers. Some bottles may carry yeasty or farmyard notes, slight effervescence from fermentation, or other characteristics that make each bottle unique.
