Domaine La Bonne Tonne, Morgon, Dame de Coeur 2022

Domaine La Bonne Tonne’s “Dame de Coeur”  “Woman of Hearts”

Experience the magic of Domaine La Bonne Tonne‘s “Dame de Coeur” 2022, a crafted Morgon cuvée by Anne-Laure. This Red Beaujolais boasts elegant floral notes and raspberry essence, creating a captivating sensorial symphony. On the palate, enjoy a tangy explosion of flavours, showcasing the delightful dance of florals and bright raspberries. The digestible and irresistibly drinkable Morgon red wine from the Gamay grape variety lingers with remarkable depth.

More than a vintage, Dame de Coeur holds a unique significance as it is a homage to her grandmother, each plot in the Grands Cras climate bequeathed by one of her grandmothers, blending plots from both sides.

The label, a collaborative effort, adds an extra layer of artistry to the bottle, echoing dedication and craftsmanship.

Raise your glass to Dame de Coeur 2022 – a wonderful Morgon wine that honours the past while embracing the present with tradition, innovation, and a woman’s touch. Cheers to the essence of Domaine La Bonne Tonne!

Domaine La Bonne Tonne

In 2016 Anne-Laure Grillet et Thomas Agentensi takeover the family estate situated in Morgon, Anne-Laure is from a line of winemaker and for 3 generations the estate has gone from mother to daughter. As a homage to this they created in 2020 the Morgon " Dame De Coeur". Thomas is also from the Beaujolais region and has learned everything about organic and biodynamic winemaking at the Bret Brothers estate. For Thomas and Anne-Laure it is all about creating a balance and a link between the land and human. The wines are all certified organic and all the work is done respecting the biodynamic calendar and preparations. The grapes are hand-harvested and the fermentation is spontaneous without any entrants, the result is a pure juice that ages for 12 months in big 600 litres barrels called demie-muid.
