Domaine Cauvard in  Burgundy  Grèves 1er cru is one of the largest of the  Cotes de Beaune and also one of the most well-known for its quality. The soil offers a complex yet sensual wine. This Pinot Noir wine has an intense ruby red colour and a nose of red fruit with cherries and blackberry aromas. The palate will develop very round tannins, this wine can be drunk but will easily have another 10 years ahead of itself.

Domane Cauvard has some of the most prestigeous soils of the cote de beaune including the hills of Corton and Cote de Beaune premier cru . The cultivation of the vines is done in a sustainable way of nature and no chemicals are used , only natural products to protect the vines.The wines are all hand harvested before a severe selection to only use the best grapes .The vinification is done in oak barrels for a period of 12 to 15 months
