The Domaine Preignes Ballon white is made from 50% Sauvignon and 50% Vermentino and the wine gives a delicious and fresh cuvée: a very present nose with aromas of white-fleshed fruits, which continues with a fluid, invigorating and refreshing palate. A pleasant companion as an aperitif, with seafood or an onion pie.

The ballon range of wines is grown in the vineyards of domaine Preignes but every year Benoit Chazallon comes down from Ardeche to vinifie the Ballon range. Benoit runs a biodynamic estate called Chateau de la Selve in Ardeche and is very attached to biodynamic winemaking.
