Vincent Bachelet, La Fuissière 2018, Maranges 1er Cru Magnum 1.5ltr

A beautiful dark Rubis colour in this wine that reveals undergrowth and cranberies on the nose. The palate is a beautiful balance of tannins and fruit, with notes of cedar and all has a long finish. This wine will resist for at least the next 10 years and will be the perfect companion of winter dishes or red meat or even strong cheese. It’s a very powerfull wine that you won’t forget.

The producer

Vincent Bachelet

Vincent Bachelet is the 3rd generation of the Bachelet family to work the 17 hectares the domaine now has, the grapes come from the most pestigeous appeltions in Burgundy and the agriculture is done with minimal intervention. All grapes are handpicked and destemmed for the pinot noir and sorted, in the winery again all is done to let the terroir express itself and have minimum intervention and no additives. The result is an amazing range of what Burgundy has to offer, stunning wines.
